We would like to thank you for visiting our site to learn more about the Polish community in Utica. Our goal is to promote Polish culture and history around Utica area and throughout New York state. Poles during the colonial time without doubt have helped shape and improve the colonies, the first factory was opened by Poles, and they were one of the first to demand better working conditions and rights for workers. During the Revolutionary war General Pułaski was of the best commanders of the Continental Army and is seen as “the father of the American cavalry”1
At this site you can learn more about the various Polish organizations by visiting their respective page. Visit the pictures section to see photos from various events. Check out the calendar of events to see upcoming festivities which you can attend.
Most organizations are located at 810 Columbia st. except for Polish Veterans of WWII, which is located at 1226 Francis st.
In addition to hosting the organizations, the Polish Home has ballrooms that can be rented for various events such as weddings, showers, graduations, and birthdays. If you wish to reserve the ballroom at 810 Columbia St, give us a call at 732-0089, ask for Mike.
